There are rumours surfacing about the D5s, possible release sometime in Jan 2018? Perhaps not, although there have been rumours there is very little. I am slowly saving up for my next camera, I could do with another body now that I sold the D90. Just in case something breaks. I assumed that I would get the D850, and this remains the most likely candidate. However, once you add the battery grip, the spare battery, and the charger for that battery then you are approaching D5 price. If the assumption that the D5s will have more megapixels and perhaps be a similar price to the D5 proves true then this might be a better option.
