Philip<\/h1>\n

Primarily I am a academic and researcher, and you can see that aspect of my life here<\/a>. However, I am also a keen photographer based in the North East of England. I enjoy most forms of photography, including landscape, street, travel and architecture. I haven’t had many opportunities to photograph people and this is something I would like to do more of in the future, perhaps even working with some models. On the film making side of things I do mostly short documentary type films and video podcasts (so far mainly academic projects). There are points at which my photography and film making intersect with my academic research in the form of projects on industrial heritage and abandoned spaces, and also interviewing and documentary film making.<\/p>\n

These days I normally use digital SLR cameras, my main being a Nikon D750. I do like film photography, particularity in black and white, and I have Mamiya 645 and Nikon F100, both of which are suffering from over use.<\/p>\n
